Lara is a social and trauma pedagogue. Her heart and soul are in Zanzibar. She dreamed of a place of empowerment – ​​for children and women, for anyone who wants support – a vibrant community. She met Jasmin at a cultural cooking class in Zanzibar. Since then, they have been working side by side: from founding Kisiwa Art Farm eV & BWECODEO, through daily project work, to the strategic development of the association – with the clear goal of creating a center for education, creativity, and social transformation.

As a traveling social entrepreneur and founder of Gypsea in Kronau, Jules' ingenuity and courage were the driving force behind the project launch.

With the objective perspective of an engineer, Gunnar, as a founding member, is always ready to help and advise the association.

Sina was deeply impressed by her volunteer stay at the Kisiwa Art Farm in 2025, especially by the team's dedicated work and the time she spent with the children. Since then, she has been passionately supporting the project from Switzerland (alongside her full-time job) in the areas of social media and sponsor communication. She also travels to Zanzibar regularly to lend a hand on-site.

After her volunteer stay at Kisiwa Art Farm in 2024, Jana knew she wanted to continue her involvement in this wonderful project, which had become very dear to her heart.

Now, alongside her psychology studies, she primarily manages the social media presence.

Since her volunteer stay in early 2024, Line has been enthusiastic about this project and quickly realized that she wanted to continue her involvement with the Kisiwa Art Farm! It has become a true passion project that she supports alongside her physiotherapy studies, particularly in social media.

As parents of project manager Lara, Ulli and Dieter are wholeheartedly committed to the association. Ulli's strength lies in networking, giving our projects a voice, and inspiring others with his enthusiasm.

In addition to providing ongoing support on-site in Zanzibar, Dieter focuses on sponsorship. As a former sales professional, he and Jasmin work hand in hand with the overarching goal of establishing the long-term and sustainable finances of Kisiwa Art Farm e.V.
